Ponta: Let’s be united at a time when Romanian society needs solidarity and unity
Prime Minister Victor Ponta made on Monday an appeal to solidarity and to unity, after the road accident in Montenegro in which 18 Romanians were killed.
“First I want to express solidarity with the victims’ families, make an appeal to mass-media, to all those who are informed about this tragedy, to be united at a time when the Romanian society needs solidarity and unity”, Victor Ponta said.
He confirmed that 18 people are dead, 29 are injured in various stages and seven are in intensive care.
The bodies of 18 Romanians who lost their lives in a road accident in Montenegro will be brought on Tuesday from Podgorica to Bucharest, announced Prime Minister Victor Ponta, stressing that the identification of the deceased could continue in Romania.
