Petrom LPG head takes reins of ButanGas

Gabriel Stoicescu, the former general manager of Petrom LPG, the liquefied petroleum gas distribution arm of Petrom, the biggest domestic company, on December 1 became the general manager of ButanGas Romania, replacing Florin Preda. ButanGas Romania is a major player on the LPG distribution market, having also recently entered the field of electricity generation from renewable sources by taking over a 25 MW wind farm from Romconstruct Top, initially held by Romanian-born Swedish businessman Emanuel Muntmark.
