More than 25,000 tourists will spend their May 1 mini-holiday on the Romanian seaside of the Black Sea, according to the estimations of the tourism agencies, president of the National Association of the Tourism Agencies (ANAT) Corina Martin told a press conference.
“We estimated 20,000 tourists on the seaside on May 1 last year and there were 25,000. We estimate 25,000 this year and if the weather is fine, which is backed by the forecast, there will be more,” Corina Martin said.
“Most accommodation places are already booked at the seaside resorts. Most tourists will be in Mamaia, Neptun or Eforie Nord resorts. We do not take into account Vama Veche for our statistics as it is an area harder to control,” Corina Martin said.
