No Romanian Killed In Japan Quake

Romania’s Foreign Affairs Ministry said Saturday the country’s Embassy in Tokyo has received no information about Romanians being injured or left dead in the earthquakes that hit Japan over the past two days.

The Sendai Emergency Center informed the embassy that three Romanians are at a local evacuation shelter and safe.

Romania's Embassy in Tokyo is in touch with local and central authorities.
