Laura Codruta Kovesi: One of this year’s problems in legal system will be implementing new codes

Romania’s General Prosecutor Laura Codruta Kovesi told a press conference on Monday in Targu Mures (central Romania) that implementing the new codes would be a problem this year not only for the Public Ministry, but also for the entire legal system. She stressed the fact that preparations to implement these codes were highly important this year. “We would all like to get rid of the non-unitary legal practice after the codes’ enactment and the rules’ being observed,” the General Prosecutor added.
