The Romanian Foreign Affairs Ministry on Friday completed the interactive map of the polling stations set up abroad, an application developed by the ministry on Google Maps platform aimed at easing the access of the Romanians outside the country to the ballot box, the ministry said in a release to Agerpres.
The map, that allows accessing the coordinates of the polling stations set up outside Romania – both the ones organised at the diplomatic missions and outside them – is available on the Foreign Ministry’s website, within the section dedicated to the referendum – http://www.mae.ro/sectii-de-votare-referendum.
The ministry underscores it has set up 306 polling stations outside Romania for Sunday’s referendum on President Traian Basescu’s impeachment.
