Electrawinds working on EUR 30 M solar energy park in Ialomita

Belgium’s Electrawinds wants to complete by the end of next year a solar energy park worth approximately EUR 30 M and to hike its wind farm capacity to 25 MW, Christophe Bols, the company’s general manager for Romania, stated, being quoted by Mediafax. According to him, the project will be implemented on a 4-hectare plot of land that the mayoralty of Fierbinti has leased for 30 years. The solar energy park will have an installed capacity of 10 MW. Bols added that the company’s projects in Romania will be financed with funds from EBRD and other private banks with which Electrawinds is already in contact. Read more on NineOClock.ro
