Defense Ministry Announces New Flights To Evacuate Romanians From Libya

A Romanian C-130 HERCULES aircraft left Bucharest Monday on its third mission to evacuate Romanian citizens from Libya, while another plane, a C-27 SPARTAN already in Malta, will leave for Tripoli later in the afternoon, according to the Defense Ministry. The Foreign Ministry announced Monday that 409 Romanian citizens have been evacuated from Libya, as well as 41 citizens of other European Union member states. Read more on Mediafax.ro
