Catastrophe in Japan: 88,000 people are missing

The Japanese news agency Kyodo reported that at this moment 88,000 people are missing after the tsunami that hit Japan, BBC informs. The toll of deaths amounts to 290 people after 200- 300 bodies were found on the Sendai beach, North East Japan.

The disaster in Japan was described by the director of a university center managing disasters that the Katrina and Haiti quake together hit Japan.
