Budapest plans to change its flag because it is too similar with Romanias flag

Budapest will change its flag because the current one resembles too much Romania’s flag, Budapest mayor Istvan Tarlos said quoted by politics.hu. The decree regarding a new flag was finished and will be submitted to a vote next Tuesday, he said. He said the new flag will be white with red, white and green triangles on the margins and the Budapest stem. The change will cost about 37,000 euro. Read more on Hotnews.ro
