Batman in Romania: several scenes of The Dark Knight Rises will be shot downtown Bucharest

Several scenes of Batman 3 – The Dark Knight Rises, directed by Christopher Nolan will be shot in Bucharest, in several areas, Bucharest mayor Sorin Oprescu confirmed, quoted by Romanian news agency Agerpres. The producers also chose to shoot in Turda, central Romania in the salt mine. There are 5 or 6 locations for which producers requested permission to shoot, Oprescu said.
