ArcelorMittal steel maker of Galati (southeastern Romania) plans to increase its presence on Romania’s wind turbines market, through adjusting its production to meet the industry’s demand, and improving the service quality and the delivery deadlines, said the Company’s PR director Dorian Dumitrescu.

According to him, ArcelorMittal Galati supplies thick tin sheets to the Greek, Polish, Czech, Ukrainian, Indian and the Turkish wind turbines manufacturers, and it plans to cooperate with other wind parks in Romania.

‘We adjusted the production and the quality of our products to meet the market demands. We have ultrasound testing laboratories, and teams that detect the tin’s faults and scan its surface, which allows us to adjust the flatting mills parameters to the ordered size,’ ArcelorMittal Galati general manager Bruno Ribo told the seminar on Wind Power Romania.
