Another Romanian military died in mission in Afghanistan

Romania caporal Catalin Ionel Marinescu, part of the Battalion 26 Infantry Neagoe Basarab passed away on Tuesday, May 10 around 6 AM in Kabul province, Afghanistan a press release of the Romanian Defense ministry reads. The caporal was part of a patrolling mission on A1 highway when his convoy was attacked by an improvised explosive device and in the attack the Romanian was severely injured. Read more on Hotnews.ro
