Romania’s Romtelecom, Cosmote Could Merge Ahead Of Listing - Min

Romania’s largest fixed line telephony operator Romtelecom and mobile telecom company Cosmote Romania could merge before the state starts procedures to list a 46% stake in Romtelecom on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, IT&C Minister Valerian Vreme said Friday. "The ministry has proposed OTE (majority holder in both companies) the two companies should merge before Romtelecom is floated in Bucharest," Vreme told Mediafax. Read more on Mediafax.ro
