Profit of SIF Transilvania falls 43%

SIF Transilvania ended the year 2010 with a net profit of 66.9 million lei, cu 43% below the profit made in 2009, of 11.6 million lei, as the company"s revenues dropped 28% during the reviewed period, from 170.3 million lei to 121.5 million lei. The difference between the earnings of the two years stems from the fact that in 2009, the company sold a stake of 3.49% of Bancpost to EFG Eurobank, in exchange for 12.7 million lei, as well as from the dividends earned from BCR, which hasn"t happened in 2010.
