Almost 90pct of Romanian internauts browse online daily

Almost 90 percent of Romanian internauts browse online daily, mostly on the computer desktops, and do it at home or at work, according to a study of trafic.ro, which collected data from November 15 to December 15. Two-thirds of Romanian internauts (68.66pct) use the desktop to browse the Internet, 48.21pct accessing the Web on laptops, while a much smaller number uses mobile phones to go online (12.68pct) and PDAs (4.07pct), writes the magazine Capital. Also, when surfing online, the majority uses an exclusive computer (39.63pct) or shares it with another person (36.76pct), but there are also situations when a single computer is used by several people.
