Who lost and who gained market share this year among top car brands

Six of the best-selling import brands in Romania, as well as Dacia, the local brand, saw their market share expand this year, according to statistical data provided by car market players, though sales followed a downward trend. Two of the top ten brands, Opel and Chevrolet, also reported rising sales, though.

The biggest market increase this year was registered by Dacia brand, which advanced from a 29% market share in the first 11 months of last year to almost 32% this year, considering its sales dropped by 11%, to 35,200 cars, half of the overall market's decline.
