President Traian Basescu on Tuesday sent a message on the Day of the Romanian Principalities’ Union emphasizing the fact that Romania, especially now, needed our loyalty, our efficiency and responsibility. ‘Romania especially now needs our loyalty, our efficiency and responsibility no matter where we might be. Romania is our effort to be together every day, united and aware of our responsibility for the future. Let us celebrate together the Union of the Principalities and ponder over the significance of this day in which we understand that Romania is every one of us and all taken together,’ reads the President’s message.
