According to sources quoted by Evenimentul Zilei, President Traian Basescu met on Thursday night with deputy Central Bank governor Cristian Popa to propose the PM seat. The information is aired, on sources, by news televisions also. On Tuesday, February 15, sources from the Central Bank declared for HotNews.ro that it is nearly impossible to have someone from the central bank considered for the PM seat.
