Romanian Dacia Car Registrations In France Up 2.5% In Jan, To 7,749 Units

Registrations of Romanian Dacia cars in France increased by 2.5% in January 2011 compared to the same month last year, to 7,749 units, and the overall French car market climbed 8.2%.

Dacia's market share dropped to 4.2% in January 2011, from 4.4% in January 2010, according to the French Carmakers Association (CCFA).

Regarding the number of car registrations, Dacia outranked Fiat (5,824 units) and Nissan (4,536 units). Volkswagen is market leader among foreign car brands with 11,109 units and is followed by Ford (9,462 units) and Opel (8,016 units).
