Romania To Continue Mine Restructuring Until 2018 - PM

The restructuring of Romania's mining sector will continue until 2018 and no mines will be closed during this interval, Prime Minister Emil Boc said Monday. Boc said the Government will use the time to look for solutions for the mines. The prime minister met Monday with Economy Minister Ion Ariton and Finance Minister Gheorghe Ialomitianu to discuss the Saturday accident at the Uricani mine in southern Romania, which left five miners dead.
