Romania January Indus Sales -11% On Month, +25.5% On Year

Romanian industrial sales fell 11% on the month in January, but were up 25.5% from the year-ago period, the country’s statistics institute INS said Tuesday. Sales in the manufacturing industry declined 11.1% in January from a month earlier, whiles sales in the mining industry were down 9% on the month. On an annual basis, sales in the manufacturing industry rose 27.4% in January, the data showed. However, mining sales decreased by 3.2% on the year. Read more on Mediafax.ro
