Head of kika is optimistic. He expects rebound of furniture market this year

Furniture and interior decoration retailer kika, which operates a store in western Bucharest continued to see a growth trend in the first two months of 2011, a trend which is estimated to be kept for the entire year. "If consumer confidence continues to increase and infrastructure is improved, I think we will have a very good year," said Lars Lund, country manager of kika Romania. He did not say what the trend was in January and February compared with the similar period of last year, but for the entire financial year ending on March 31st, the kika manager says he expects 7% higher sales.
