EBRD, EIB, IFC Made Available EUR1.76B For Romania In 2009-2010

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank and the International Finance Corporation made available EUR1.76 billion to support Romanian banks in the 2009-2010 interval, within a joint action plan aimed to help financial systems in Central and Eastern Europe. The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) made available funds in the amount of EUR218 million for Romania, the EBRD said in a report released Friday. EBRD committed EUR799 million, of which EUR431 million were signed and EUR282 million disbursed. Read more on Mediafax.ro
