Bucharest dropped from 29 to 73rd positions in a top on most efficient metropolitan areas

Bucharest dropped to the 73rd position, from 29th in a most efficient capital cities top, based on economic performances, a Brookings Institution and London School of Economics top reads, quoted by Romanian news agency Mediafax.

Therefore, in times of crisis, from 2007 - 2010 Bucharest was classed on the 73rd position compared to 29 in 2003-2007. Economic performances are calculated based on the evolution of GDP per capita and unemployment.
